24 Superboat Outboard worth?
 

Hey guys , what do think a 1980 24 Ft outboard superboat with no motor/ no trailer/ has interior but needs to be replaced / bottom paint / worth . BOAT HAS BEEN SITTING FOR YEARS. If I buy It I will restore it and update it . My question is what do think its worth the way it sits . Thanks , Tom

What condition is it in. A guy came to the shop the week before Christmas. He just came from a auction in Medford. He got a 24' Superboat, 1996 theft recovery, which had no interior or motor. The hull and deck were in excellent condition. Here's the killer...............he only paid $ 1,200.00. The bargains are out there. I wish I could have found that one. That would have solved the "POTTI" dillemma with Kate and the girls. LOL
I have to look up in my BUC book to see what it's worth though. I'll try to get you a price on the value tomorrow.

Not sure on a superboat, I paid $6400 for a 1981 24 pantera single outboard, with the running 1985 200 Black Max. but mine came with aluminum trailer, 3-man bolster, stainless prop, new gaffrig throttles, new guages, almost everything to finish it up. mine is very solid, if the superboat is also, i would say 2-$3000, depending on condition, and what is included.

The boat has been sitting uncovered for a couple of years. It has not been in the water since about 1994. It is basically a hull . I will probably have to paint the boat . I had owned and restored a io 24 superboat about 10 yrs ago . I wish the this boat was an I/O . Tom
