Re: My next boat: Y2k!
Rick, How much room between the cabin bench's now?

Re: My next boat: Y2k!
24.5 " in between stringers Tom

Re: My next boat: Y2k!
Thanks Rick. I need to chew on that for awhile.

Re: My next boat: Y2k!
Tom,
You also have to take into consideration the porta potti inbetween the stringers. If the benches are extended outward, say more then 2" , they will be interfering with potti. Rick |
Re: My next boat: Y2k!
Ya know what I might do if we plan on an overnighter is have a board I can lay on the Vbirth under the cushions. When we go down for the night I can pull the board out and lay it on the benches covering the walkway and converting the bench area into one big berth. Probably have a cushion made up to fill the gap of the exsisiting cushions. Is that too geekish?

Oh OK...I was gettin a wee bit jealous there for a minute...THese boats are chick magnets... My wife loved the first Y2K she saw on the water. Hence the easy up-seeling her on moving up from the 24. :) :) :)
