What coating is applied to prevent the salt from ruining them? I would think it would get under the rest of the black finish.

An epoxy based black paint. The tab (area to be painted) is heated with a heat gun then multiple coats are applied. works great Tom.

Thanks Gary. A few more weeks, I should be there to pick up the beast. I told JC not to cut out the holes for the exhaust so I can put the custom headers where the align to instaed of having a funky exhaust bend.
