Practical Joke on JC !!!!
 

First take a tie wrap, the kind you use a screw with. Next, take a head of a #10 Stainless steel screw, and hot glue it to the screw hole on the tie wrap.
Take tie wrap and secure it to the gas tank sending unit wire. Then, LOL, hot glue the tie wrap to the top of the aluminum gas tank.

I did this to John last Thurs. I felt sooooo bad. I almost gave himm a heart attack. Heres what happened.

Rick- "John, John the rigger was in the engine compartment *****ing he couldn't get a screw in"

John-" What screw ?"

Rick- " I think you better look for yourself "

John walks to the back of the boat, and starts looking around the engine compartment.

John- " OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDD !!!!!! THere's a screw in the gas tank !!!! "

Thats when I told him it was a joke. I'm soo cruel.... ;)

That is a good one. I saw something similar, but real once. I was looking at someones boat in Jersey, and noticed a screw sticking out of the bottom of the boat. I pointed it out to the owner, and we looked further. Upon closer looking, we found someone had screwed the drivers seat down and used one screw that was waaaay too long, and drove it right thru the bottom. :eek:

that is a good one...

many years ago, my father sold a guy a little runabout...he took it home and two days later, called my father screaming and yeeling that he sold him a pice of junk and that the boat was sunk behind his house...

turns out, mr ship shape tv decided to install a set of seats...securing them with nails... we found this out after hauling the boat...and that guy was so embarassed...
