Re: Tsunami For Sale
Out of curiosity...could a cabin be installed in an old race boat like that? What would you have to do? Love to have a v-berth, some couches, a porta-potty, and maybe even a couple hatches. Dave

Lucky Strike - "Out of curiosity" is just the pleasant way to say "I could/should not afford to, but"...

To put a covergirl cabin in my 38 Top Gun F-2 boat cigarette wants $8000. One of the reasons I bought the boat I did was because it had no cabin. As I said all it takes is money and you can add almost anything to your boat LS |
Re: Tsunami For Sale
Bodyshot, you don't need 80K to take it away. Just make a reasonable offer and you can be running in the next OPA race. It is on the trailer, ready to race, poker run or pleasure run.
Dave911. A cabin could be easily be added, it has full length stringers that would just need a top to be added, carpet over top and upholstery. Hatches can be easily cut through the deck and installed. Rob Bradley, Tsunami |
Re: Tsunami For Sale
Rob,
Wish I could..great boat. Think we met a few years ago in Ft.Myers..I ran with Greg DiRenzo in Inferno/Spystuff a few times... Best of Luck to you! Marty |

That pic above is sweet. To me, that's how an offshore should look!

Re: Tsunami For Sale
Thanks guys, it has been a great boat. I will be sad to see it go, but now that we are not racing, it is a little bit big for the lake we mainly boat on. With the amount of history that Sutphen's have off the shores of the east coast, New Jersey, New England and surrounding areas. Someone will want a solid built boat to pound through the waves.
Bodyshot1, I remember someone who ran with Inferno who was from the east coast. What have you been running in these days? Rob Bradley |
Re: Tsunami For Sale
I have a 32 Velocity raceboat that I managed to run a couple times...too much of a headache!
Ran w/Ben Walker in his 26 Scarab (LuLu's) at Sarasota this year...fun ride... Other than that, I set up the courses for OPA, run in the Pace Boats..that kinda stuff. Good Luck with the sale...she's a great boat! Marty |
Re: Tsunami For Sale
