How many Sutphens?
 

I was wondering how many boats has Sutphen produced 30ft and larger. Also, what is the largest number produced in one year?


Just bored and there is not much going on in this forum.

Hey Wstultz ,

Spoke with Rich Jr , he say's back in 85 or 86 he remembers building like 35 or 36 boats , but in the mid 70's he thinks his dad had some years with about 70 or so but alot were the 17 footers that were selling for about 8 or 9 hundred ready to go less the outboards . Total boats built is somewhere between 700 and 800 . Rich has alot of work going on at the shop in Jersey but alway's takes the time to talk with me and a few of my Sutphen friends when we stop by . Give him a call about that 39 footer you want , I bet he may even take your Sutphen on trade .

Thanks for the info about Sutphen history.I know what you mean about them taking time to help. Sutphen is always willing to answer any questions or give advice.
