with or without power

I wanted to get some opinions on if it's a good idea to sell my boat without power. I know a lot of people would rather put their own in a boat like mine. I'm about to put it on e-bay and wondered what the general opinion is......should it be listed with or without power.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

its hard for a bank to lend money without power. Although your boat is unique. I would list it priced both ways.

Stormrider 03-23-2007 02:58 PM

both ways...
how sad... your boat rocks.

wstultz 03-23-2007 03:09 PM

Thanks Storm.......why don't you buy it?

I'll even give you the easy payment plan---give all the money, I'll give you the boat......easy.:D

Stormrider 03-23-2007 03:15 PM

By me the boat would be the cheap part.
Storage is about $7000/yr. :(

Stormrider 03-23-2007 03:20 PM

that boat needs about 450hp / side w/ dry pipes!:evilb:

wstultz 03-23-2007 03:34 PM

If I end up keeping it that is exactly what is going in it. (except for the dry pipes). I'm not familiar with advantages of dry pipes or who makes them.

Stormrider 03-23-2007 03:50 PM

w/ dry pipes you can go w/ a more radical cam, since you pretty much elimate the water reversion problem.
And it sounds badass, especially w/ sbcs.

I think Wades pipes introduce water at the end of the exhaust pipe???

jeff1000man 03-24-2007 01:58 PM

List it no reserve for me! :D :D :evilb:

thats not dry cowboy........:evilb:

The water never mixes with the exhaust. It comes out the bottom of the sleeve and never touches exhaust air.

just like all wet exhaust does:evilb: :evilb:

wstultz 03-27-2007 09:56 AM

Good. I didn't know the difference. It's good to know that Johnny Law Dog can't f%$K with me.

jeff1000man 03-27-2007 10:48 AM

Dry is when you run an auto style header out the top like on some of thos crazy jet boats.

wstultz 03-27-2007 11:03 AM

So pretty much I'd leave skin deposits on them every time I touched 'em? ......No thanks.

Stormrider 03-27-2007 03:02 PM

dry is either when the water runs in a separate tube w/in the header, and dumps at the ends of the tips. or even better, runs thru a separate exit in the hull.
The exhuast tips look normal, just no water coming from them.

wstultz 03-27-2007 09:11 PM

The water in my pipes never mixes. The exhaust comes out of the end and the water dumps out of the bottom of the pipes. It doesn't really matter because I don't think my boat could sound much better. Unless there was some whining from a couple of superchargers in the background.:D We shall see when I get the new ones from EMI, they are an inch bigger in diameter.

Stormrider 03-28-2007 08:21 AM

so are you still puttin it on ebay?

wstultz 03-28-2007 10:01 AM

negative.

jeff1000man 03-28-2007 10:03 AM

Damn, I was looking forward to stealing that one. :D

wstultz 03-28-2007 11:23 AM

I know a lot of people trying to steal her. Nobody will be stealing my baby for anything less than advertised! Except you Jeff, I'll give you the special price.....$50,000.:p
