Not much going on here ...

Why so dead in the Sutphen forums ?

What`s going on with everyone ?

lucky strike 04-27-2007 09:50 AM

I'm still here, not much to say I guess.

floatingphil 04-27-2007 10:06 AM

There are presently more Sutphens for sale than I've seen before. Not sure if that's good or bad.

dave911 04-27-2007 10:18 AM

Hey all! Yeah, not much to say.
I've got a guy looking at my boat tomorrow morning.
May sit out for a couple years and play with cars 'til my boy gets a bit older. Tough decision.

lucky strike 04-27-2007 11:08 AM

Alot of calls on mine....5 to be exact, no offers yet.
Its a tough market now for boats. I'm not in a rush to sell it
I would like to get rid of the Top Gun so I can get my new ride.
I'll give someone a great deal on the Cigarette !

floatingphil 04-27-2007 04:05 PM

Lucky,
Great Adventure is a super, super boat. It's a pity you are selling it.

Thanks....Odds are I'm going to keep it, I was just in one of my moods, had a bad day at the showroom & came home and told Bobby put it on OSO 4 sale & see if there is any interest. As I said the Cig has to go. I'm buying a friends Cat if we sell it.. Having the cat & the Sutphen will be perfect..

Donman 04-27-2007 05:35 PM

I`ve had about a dozen different people emailing about my boat. I`ve had 6 different people phone me, 2 guys have called several times. I`ve been offered $24,250 that I turned down.

I have a good feeling that it will sell soon. It should sell fast, considering the price / condition.

Lucky Strike Jr 04-27-2007 06:02 PM

Thats a lot of bang for the buck

[email protected] 04-27-2007 07:48 PM

Ive had half a dozen inquires as well a few seem somewhat serious but havent seen any $. I think maybe some good weather would help. Glad to see some activity in here. Donman good move turning down the 24k hang on you should get all the $ for that boat.

As of tonight, I`m in talks with a guy who appears ready to buy. We`ve discussed a deposit, title transfer and delivery. I`m actually getting cold feet about selling now. Gawd I hate to sell this boat, but it`s for the better right now.

lucky strike 04-28-2007 04:59 PM

D man.....What kind of speed do you see in that bad boy ?

lucky good to see the cig from another angle. What is the history of your TG? how long have you owned it?

We've had the boat two years. It is a Lip-Ship Edition & it has 525EFI with 5 hrs, Bravo XR Drives with 2" shortie sportmasters on 12" Extension Boxes and CMI Sport Tube Headers. The drives were just rebuilt by TNT (one brand new) and the headers were replaced a few months ago. Everything is fresh. 93mph GPS. The boat is awesome but as LS said...it has to go.

You can check the classified ad under my signature. Thanks.

The boat your thinking of is Steve Santangelos old boat, Hollywood. It was the straight bottom F-2 that raced under the Havoline name, not Lucky's boat. Phil took the boat in on trade for a 42 Tiger. He totally redid the boat and sold it to Wild on the board. Now he sold the boat to Croozin on the board. You should see what Phil did to the boat. You would never know it was the same boat.

Randy Wild bought it from Phil. We've run with him a few times. The boat is sharp. He recently sold it to Croozin on here and now it's in LA.

No we havn't been out yet. We should be ready to go in the next week and a half or so. The river seems like it's almost back to normal. You should run with us on some of the runs the CT guys are planning to do. Go in the Poker Run section of the forums and look for the CT thread.
