Hardly ever see any for sale. I'd be interested in any older ones that might be for sale w/o power.

Thanks Marty, there are some very nice 30's for sale now but I am thinking about an 88 or newer 31. Same deck and configuration as the 26, only stretched.

How about a 39 for short money? Three man full stagger #4's on boxes with double tie bar and hyd steering. 510's with 2speed trannys. Would that work for you?

Is the boat in question a 1979.What is a two speed transmission.

38/39's aren't that old - more likely early to mid eighties.

The boat is a 1979. A 2 speed transmission is just that. Reverse is back just like normal. Forward is just like normal except with an extra gear for more speed. 2speed transmissions have been around a long time in boats, just not readily available.
