Thanks. This is how I get through the winter. I HATE the winter. I run over to the shop every few days and see what's happened since I was there last.

New shifters.

those shifters are killer looking!

nice man, really nice...

Thanks.
The shifters were really too big. The installation with the flange cut and running up under the dash is just the best that could be done without modifying the pod. The original plan was to cut off the front and back of the flange, re-drill and re-paint, but cutting the front of the flange was enough to suggest that it might not come out neatly. What I did not want is this: http://www.powerboatlistings.com/powerimg/m/4398/2.jpg |
Outstanding work...!!!
I actually bought a set of those exact shifters from Too Old... They are headed to be installed in the Baja now. We talked about installing them one winter.... Scott & Ruben thought it might get a tad messy and I didn't like the mock up of the little extension we built for the dash. |
Thanks, Mike. I kind of went over board on the boat. It'll be nice to get the new upholstery in, though. Turns out there's a fair amount of rot in the wood frames, so that's getting repaired and glassed.
I just bought this wheel off a guy on OSO. I like it better than the Momo in the earlier pictures. http://www.livorsi.com/images/07cata...e/ISWAMR_b.gif I ordered some billet speaker covers from Xtreme Audio Covers that I'm painting red to match. http://www.xaudiocovers.com/images_x...x5_catalog.jpg |
