Loking for good CT beaches to take the sutphen
 

I am looking to find some nice beaches, sand bars on the CT side to take the sutphen.

preferably easy to get in close since I have 2 year old.


Closer to mouth of CT river the better.


C, any good Ideas?

I may take a trip to thimbles tomorow(sunday)

I am hoping to be out on sunday which is today. would be leaving out of stratford and looking to go some where.

I will bo out today.
first time solo in the boat.
I have been dying to run it this way and see how managable it is alone.

I used to take the 20 and my ski out solo all the time and enjoyed it hopefully this will be a good experience.

C, if your out give me a call Maybe Ill come out that way.

That is akind of a far run for me first time alone but I would like to hook up with some more sutphen people in the future .

If you guys are out call my cell and maybe I'l try and get together down that way if I get big enough cajones.

couldn't go today...too chaotic, and the boat's not at the shore anymore...not enough hours in the day...:rolleyes:
good thing though, it really kicked up late in the day...

I nevr got out either my 2 year old decided she wanted to come with me and I didn't want to take her out alone with the
skies looking so bad.

boat is finally 100% fixed (for now)...
going to run around saturday...new haven, maybe pj, the thimbles...really, I am!

jeff, there's a cool little beach called kelsey's on the branford east haven line...my buddy brings his cruiser, kids..etc..it's fun and safe...

I'm heading out Sunday, maybe a Claudios run
