Anyways, it's good to see these updated smaller models being introduced. The 27 should be a very popular boat, maybe even a cut-down twin O/B version, yeah:p

The smaller boats are built by Richie Jr.

The larger boats by Richie Sr.

All boats are being built in Fla.

There are basically 2 different/separate Sutphen boat companies.

It has been that way for years hasnt it?

Its just that now they are in the same basic area instead of one in FLA and one in NJ.

Hope everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving!! Rich Jr. is located in Cape Coral, FL.

Morgan, Rich and I will be attending the Miami show this February. Let me know who will be attending and I will see if I can get some tickets for our Sutphen friends.

Our new website is coming along nicely and I'm sure you guys will like it.

What are the dates of the show?

I have been wanting to drag the rum runner down to FLA at some point over the winter but not sure if it'll happen this year.If you bring the 21's you should take them out and get some pics over by star Island.

Theres a jetski tour over by the cruise ships they guys cool as hell and I think he'll let you follow them out.
So you can find the scarface home and get some pics in front if it.(cant remeber if it the scarface home or the capone house but either way its acool house)

Dont forget to bring some thompsons or some mac 10's fpr the photos.

I read somewhere that the 27 was not going to be in Miami and I can understand that because it would be no small feat to introduce two new models in 6 month's time. I'm sure it will be worth waiting for :cool:, Sutphen's don't disappoint.

I think it was in one of the threads about the new sutphens maybe in the general boating discussions. I'll try and re loctae it for you to see.

277 Pictures
 

No pictures for you guys yet, Rich Jr has been working on the new hull mold and it is well on it's way. He still has a ton of tooling work to do on the all new 277 deck so I'm not certain when he will complete our first 277.

I have spent some time in the shop with Rich and I can't believe the hours that are involved in building the plugs and molds to produce a new boat. Rich has really put his heart into this new boat, it will be worth the wait.

We will have a few new 21 footers in the Miami show so make sure you stop by and check us out, these little hotrods are a lot of fun to run , the quality and performance is pretty awesome.

I thank all you Sutphen owners for your support on this forum, I will keep you guys up to date on the 277 progress the best I can, if anyone needs info just give me a call or email.

As much as we all want to see the NEW 277 I am sure we'd all rather wait a little while longer for true sutphen quality than have it rushed and have the fit and finish of many of the other boats out there.

I would imagine its gonna be one killer ride when its done.

In this market especially with sutphens good pricing, rock solid strength, and there classic good looks that people will see theres a ton of value in these boats.
