Winter Ct sutphen get together?
 

Anyone interested in doing a Winter CT sutphen get together?

Seems like we get together in the summer but were all to busy boating to actually get to know one another.

I was thinking a get together in the winter might be cool.

I know The Back porch in OS is open til January and they have great deals on wings etc to try and get people out there.

Big screen TV for videos (if anyone has any)
Just a thought. Let me know what you guys think.

My Buddy is also a bar tender at Black bear in NH and theres plenty of hotties there for another option.

a good sports bar in a central location would be key..what's central mean? can we do NYC for the winter show? I like AC, but it's not central...

Central between you and I is OS and since were the only ones interested.

I'll be in CT until the 24th of November and coming back on Dec 2nd..then in FLorida on December 18 until the end of February 2009. Anytime time in between is good for me. We will be at the Miami show in February.

Any input on where youd like to do a get together?

count me in it doesn't make a difference where we meet just l tell me where. ran ct river yesterday it was great only slowed down for middletown rest of time was W.O.T. covered from gilette castle to pizza beach took around 2HRS.

Pick a date & ill see. Snowmobile season is almost here but maybe depending on date.

Well, I was thinking mid january because people go away in feb and december is crazy with christmas BS plus my kids birthday is in december.

anyone have any suggestions/preferences.

I am a snow boarder so that sounds cool but that could be a different day.

if not you should. its fun as hell and makes winter a blast.
a good time is getting together on the lake and chillin out drinking beer, racing and riding sleds (not together tho. lol) but that would be fun a nice get together up north for some sled times!!

Helps the time pass between boating seasons! Head over to Land 'n Sea in Waterbury...they have some great deals on new/used/leftover sleds!

Usually I am so tired of towing from the race car in the summer I just like to stay close to home or go snowboarding in the winter.

I was on a freestyle ski team until I was 17 and when I tried a snowboard I never ski'd since.
I never got that great at snowboarding(cant ride switch) but I love it. reminds me of surfing.

With the price of lift tickets these days its probably cheaper to buy a sled. LOL

Plus I have an ATV 250R honda and a CR500 Dirt bike I already dont use.LOL

I have some buddies that have sleds maybe I'll borrow one and go with you guys and se if I like it.

i love the sleds. fun as hell.
and yes, im on HCS, nice retro!!

a friend of mine and I have been looking renting sled but it does not seem that easy or we are just looking in the wrong places. Not like I need another hobby but I would like to at least try it out.

they rent them at a few places in Rangeley maine and pittsburg nh i know that and the ridding in that area is great and trails with a mp are easy to follow. if you rent a sled just remember you will be on a crap box with crappy gear so dont base your full care of it on rented sleds. once you get the good sled and good gear, you will love it!!!! i have boated all my life, i have race cars, a street car (03 Z06 with spray) Harley etc etc etc, and the sled is my favorite pass time bar none!!

I have had, other fish to fry lately but have been thinking about it still. It would be nice for us all to get together in our area and get a group topgether so in the summer we can all get toegther on the water and knwo whos out there and where they leave from etc .
