Been in CT for years. I dont think it has been run in a while though.

theres a few out there to choose from I emailed also. dan are there any 31s around they have more cockpit space. my 24 has the same as the 30. the new 31/32 that erine has seems bigger also. later art

Die hard. I had no experience with the o/b's they scared the hell out of me.LOL
Now that I have them I love them.
easy to work on as far as space, More cockpit room. Easy swaps if you need to, No winterizeng Bull**** to deal with every year and you can use it longer.

the only thing you lose is the sound of the v8's and thats really the only thing.

I am building an addition and thats why I am selling the boat but when I do get another sutphen I will look for an O/B boat first.

That 34 down in FLA is just a killer boat as far as I am conderned.

I know james gangs boat is a killer O/B ride as well.

I think when you start seeing more 4 stroke O/B boats supercharged and turbocharged in the future they will take over the market just like They did with ATV's and Jet skis.

I am curious what you dont like about O/Bs

i never really though about it. i own a gas station /repair shop and am alway building a car project. so i guess im just more comfortable working on them. a motor is a motor i guess. just have no experience on them.(ob motors) maybe ill change my mind who knows. i also like the look if a pair of v-8 stuffed in the back. i would rather have turbines but then im just dreaming $$$$.

The river run is the 18th I believe. Just a heads up that 30 is not going to be in the shape of the 26 when you bought it from us!

i went to see the boat today. he called me. i have a lot of pics if anyone wants them or can post them for me. its a big project. not worth it to me., a lot of questionable stuff going on with it. everything was soaked. floor was soft in the cabin, missing stuff in engine compartent, huge gaugesin the hull 10 ft long, questionable patch under the motors on the hull.spider cracks on the sides under resent? side repaint.i loved the shape and style of the boat. must have been a sweet ride back in the day.its a big project for somebody. im glad i went to see it.

is that the one in RI if so its stock 454s 330 or 370 which is a better motor 4blot main, rec heads, a set of headers dart intake holley carb your at 435 hp and 76 to 78mph instead of 72. thats suppost to be a nice boat been instorage long time so its going to need to be checked after 10yrs of sitting heard they are hard ball on 18 to 20 grand and won't give it away the owner said. colors are tan and green:eek: or brown. sounds to nice for me to rip a part to make a single. and if I pass on the ones for 10 to 12 grand I will post it here. the saber I want to look at is a drop in with a lil glass work, but 19,000 for a 88 hull no power is a lil high I think. but the least amount of work. but then I won't be in the sutphen club:eek:, any news on that guy who was selling a 31 sutphen no power?? never saw him post again. art

I have 2 of them a 69 firebird RAIV 4 spd car with 15K on it.

minitubbed, 12 pt cage glass nose and doors, 468 pontiac with a T88 turbo Gen 7 DFI 160# injectors made 878 HP and ran 9.70 at 145MPH (off the foot brake) with the carb hopping for well into the 1000HP range with the new found ignition curve and better fuel curve.

Gonna proabbly have Job spetter tune it.

Anyone have more pics of this boat? Not interested in it right now but it has teasing the hell out of me. Does it need power, drives, rigging, AND hull repair? Interior shot? Looks like a bad ace old school ride in the pics on craiglist.......
