The story is...it needs to be in my barn. Sweet boat and if i remember correctly it has a full cabin as well.

Lot of good deals on Sutphens out there, but this one's got some serious hardware.

I just put 2 new gas tanks in it & had to cut up the floor so we put a new floor in it. Looks exactly like original & I took pics. from start to finish. Big job & EXPENCIVE.
It has the P-5 engines & in it & is dialed in for 73 mph for the class back then.

When it had the B&G engines it ran 93 mph.

mine only runs 91 @4900rpm's right now w/ the whipple efi 490ci engines i built.:evilb:i'll be airing it out real soon,should be real close to 112mph.

whats good and bad for me is last fall I ordered the blower motor and konrad drive thats a lot of cash right there. and richie wants way to much for the red hull he is sitting on in these times. thats why I have been looking at 30s with twins to strip for a single. but just might have to look at a single saber 28 hull thats set up for a single .it would be almost a drop in and go but the x needs to be changed to low. and I love the 87 up 31 hull the most. other wise I would of bought 05 32 with 850 set up if I didn't have my stuff, that guy on the cape got the deal of the century he bought a whole boat for what they want for the blank hull thats been built for some time.:picard1::traurig001::(. then that deal for the cafe racer WOW. I would of had a fire sale on my stuff. so theres deals out there and if crazy chicken 28 joker isn't sold by nov, I may make a offer on it. or the 08 full cabin one if its still around. man you can get them cheap once you buy one your stuck with it. tell him to buy a used one there 6 to 10 grand after 5 years they land hard on any water bigger than 2ft, I was in 3 to 4 footers with MRV8OUTBOARD on here jeb out in buzzards bay:evilb: it had twin jet motors hauled mail in the flat water, but running hard in the ocean I was shocked it didn't break a part we should of had his A class race boat out there hahaha. warn your bud if he pays 35 gs we will be selling it for 15 gs in the fall:eek: cause he has no back left.

2 low hp big blocks with gill exhaust turning 22 inch offshore cleavers 5500= 73 mph.

The B&G's were about 550 hp turning 25 inch mirage
6,000 = 93 mph.
