hey NE gang...
Does anyone have info on these? The blue one used to be in CT, the 26 o/b in RI (Tiverton, i think..), the "new " 26?, and the high deck 39...(ok, not so small..).?
I, personally, think that blue o/b single is one of the nicest Sutphens...

30ctsutphen 12-16-2009 10:43 PM

Isnt that 39 an elegante?

I think its one ugly F ing boat but the older I get the more I like its functionality.
what can I say I like flat decks.LOL

I have seen pics of the inside and its cavernous

floatingphil 12-17-2009 08:57 AM

I think the 39 belonged to a member on here from Ohio. It was advertised for a while so he may still have it. The 20 o/b was/is also a members boat.

dave911 12-17-2009 01:18 PM

39 looks the size of a Black Thunder.

bayhouse bob 12-17-2009 07:37 PM

i have a20 foot sutphen bare hull that is available. it is the same color as the one posted .it was repainted in 2006 also new gas tank. if anyone is interested contact me at [email protected] it is the fifth o/b built & was surveyed when the boat was restored

dave911 12-17-2009 09:42 PM

Wonder what a 20' would do with a single 300sx on it?

floatingphil 12-18-2009 02:33 PM

This 20 in Fort Myers looks like a nice boat.

OL40SVX 12-18-2009 02:54 PM

That 20 does look sweet. I like the colors!!

dave911 12-18-2009 04:02 PM

The second picture looks like a new 26 and was taken in Rich’s shop in Lake Hopatcong.

That'd be the one! It was on display at the NYC poker run in 2005. Happy Holidays to you too Jim!! (from the other thread!):D

Yeah, then it would be a 330hp with an Alpha drive, which might not be so bad on such a small boat as long as you don't have delusions of high horsepower grandeur.

20o/b

Hey guys, my brother and I still have and use the blue 20 with the 275 merc, in ct and ri. I have been trying to get to
the ct river run, but obilgations with the kids have made it
hard. I WILL be at it next year weather permitting. As far as the boat, it still looks just as good but is starting to show
signs of its age--hull is an 1981.

high deck 39

That high deck 39 reminds me of my 30' Scarab II not my favorite look but sure is functional. I love the look of a flat deck too.

Is that the boat that has the lcuky strike and cigarette on it. If so I posted pics of her a few years ago on here.

I told lucky strike it would be the perfect boat for him minus the cigarette logos of course.::party-smiley-004:

30ctsutphen 12-20-2009 07:30 PM

By the way anyone interested in the 20 forsale here in ct that I used to own it looks very much like that boat.

I havent been able to dig up pics yet but I know I have them somewhere.

It was a good running boat with about 15 or 20 Hrs on the engine, brand new trailer, Volvo 290 drive, new trim pump etc.

I can find out pricing if anyone is interested.

Lemme know. My boy, Jake, is almost four now, so I need to get him on the water...Thanks, Dave911

Luckytilo 12-21-2009 06:12 AM

@ 30ctsutphen;

you have good remembrance. The boat exactly it was. have been a little bit of converted.inkluive logos. The jet propulsion unit was too slow

The CT 20 is for sale for $5500 and needs a back seat and a trim pump is not yet installed.
In the summer he will fix those two things and want $7500.00

I have a few pics to forward if anyone wants to see it.

I put a brand new 350 4 bolt 1986 engine in the boat just before I sold it. He put a nice new 2007 trailer under it imediatly after buying it.

The boat is a killer deal IMHO!

I had a blast with that boat.

has been sitting covered up since I sold it. I dont think it has ever moved an inch!

I got a lot more than that for it and he put a new trailer under it too.

Not super fast because the 290 soaks up alot of power but its bullet proof too. Also the 290 can change dierction of rotation with a simple change in the housing making prop purchases a little easier.

My email is [email protected] for pics
