Beautiful boat. Something really stands out with an all white hull.

this 33 has been in a barn in sterling, CT for a while.....for sale on and off....+/- it's in good shape.....

letterrip 04-14-2010 09:52 PM

wishbone.... How do you like the downturn exhaust tips?
I was considering adding them to mine.
What is the sound / noise at idle like...?

33 is the all around size... I feel.

No motors, too much $$$ and hole cut into the inside of the transom to let the moisture out?????

Something about all that scared me off.LOL

Actually in all honesty the boat presents well other than that little spot in the transom cut open..

Its been in dry inside storage for many years so its probably pretty dry now.

The engines were killer blower motors, but didnt come with the boat at its asking price, which was not low even for a boat with engines in it. IMO

The owner was a very nice guy, but was 100% sure he was selling it too cheap. So I didnt see any sense in trying to haggle at all.

That all the info I have on that one.
Just my honest $.02

Black Wishbone: Nice ride, thanks for the pics.

Anyone know how much $$ for the one in CT. with the KAAMA's?
Contact #?

Thanks: Matt

Black Wishbone 04-15-2010 08:51 AM

Letterrip. I am very happy with the turn downs. At idle you still hear the rumble but can have a conversation at normal speaking level. For me the pipes stay in during a no wake zone so doing about 6mph once I start going faster they come out and then the sound is really nice. The only issue is they bubble the water a lot and will get the back all wet but it's not that big of a deal for me.

I do like the all white and I am not looking to change it at all except the red lighting bolt may go some day.

Mine is also technically a 34 not that it really matters.

shaun harrington 04-18-2010 09:23 AM

hi guys I have seen both boats , give me a call and i will fill you in. 508-326-7915

30ctsutphen 04-18-2010 10:10 AM

anyone know what happened to that 33 in FLA with the tripple 250 HP merc on it?

I cant seem to find that add anymore.

I was gonna have someone look at it for me this week down there and POOF its gone!

OLD MAN 05-09-2010 11:03 AM

Hi Guys, I'm the $$$man behind "Night Moves", all of you should take the
time to call Paul at Port Edgewood...make an appointment and go take a
look at the boat! At the price we're asking, if you price the outdrives, props, gimball assemblies, trannys and the K planes...your getting the boat for free! Ernie, who's an old friend of mine, has seen the boat and
admits the hull is well worth re-powering. I encourage all of you take the
ride...it IS worth looking at.

Sick Stinger 05-09-2010 12:47 PM

Thats been for sale for a long time.

OLD MAN 05-09-2010 01:33 PM

Your right...it has been for sale for quite a while...but if you have your own
motors and you know what you've got in them, it's better than buying one
with engines for big $$$ and getting the BIG surprise when one blows
that you paid all the money for. George

OLD MAN 05-13-2010 06:33 AM

Mike, If you have an interest in "Night Moves", contact Paul with a
reasonable offer and it will be yours. I need to move it along to get
smaller boat for the lake. Thanks, George

Sick Stinger 05-13-2010 06:59 AM

Im looking to off a 32 husler my self not buying anything big till the Cig is done.
-Mike

OLD MAN 05-14-2010 06:48 AM

Mike, I understand...looks like we are all trying to sell something to get
something else. George

dba900 05-14-2010 09:18 AM

What work does "Night Moves" need? Could you drop in motors and be good to go?

OLD MAN 05-14-2010 03:48 PM

Hi dba, The boat needs complete engines including raw water pumps,
exhaust manifolds & risers. The B/W trannys w/couplers, engine plates,
TRS drives w/Mirage props, Kiekhaefer (large) k-planes, lift pistons and
pumps both trim & tilt are all there incl the p/s pump & bracket. One of
pistons will need a reseal and clean up connections on the trim tab motors
from sitting. Go onto Boat Trader under Sutphen and you will see all the
photos listed. Thanks, George

floatingphil 05-14-2010 04:18 PM

Does Night Moves have a longer deck and shortened cockpit?

OLD MAN 05-14-2010 08:39 PM

Phil, I measured the deck once before quite a while ago and if my memory
is right from the front edge of the cowl to the tip of the bow is either 20' or
22'. I can go to Port Edgewood on Sunday and get an exact reading for you
if you want me to. Let me know and I'll take the ride for you. It is most
definitely an original flatdeck with the hand rail down the center. Thanks,
George

Yes it does.

floatingphil 05-15-2010 07:20 AM

George,
No need to measure it for me. I thought from looking at the photos of it in it's present state, that this boat would make a great outboard hull as well.

OLD MAN 05-15-2010 07:43 PM

Phil, What kind of power would it take to convert to ob's? How many
engines? George

floatingphil 05-16-2010 06:34 AM

My guess would be triple 2.5's or twin 300's to get into the 70's. The factory would have real numbers.

OLD MAN 05-16-2010 07:24 AM

Never gave the conversion a thought...this may open up the market area
to more prospective customers...thanks for your input.

OLD MAN 05-23-2010 07:41 AM

Jeff, I tried to send you a reply to your message but your box is full.

30ctsutphen 06-30-2010 05:48 PM

Yeah OB conversion would be the way to go on that boat. You could beef up the transom like Jimmy did on his boat, Add cockpit space, sell off all the old pieces and buy tripple 200's or 250's for her.

That would be a killer boat with lots of room in it.

dba900 07-01-2010 11:09 AM

Any idea how fast it would be with that rig? How much of a speed difference is there between the OPs and the Outrageouses?
