Sutphen 38
 

I saw a pretty nice sutphen 38 over next to ocean performance. The for sale sign said it has 502s with TRS drives. Does anyone know anything about this boat? How much they are asking?

Low 30's I believe, I also think it is this brochure boat, stripes and power has changed over the years....

I had looked at that boat on "Fathers Day", and it seemed to have had an engine out of it...ie; Missing tailpipe. Did it seem together when you looked at it ? Other than that it is a real clean boat.

I spoke to John the owner of the boat last week before I purchased my boat.

It was one of the boats I was considering. The exhaust manifold had a pin hole in it and was leaking water so He pulled it and had it tig welded.

The boat has been painted and is a good job, The power looks older but he is a mechanic so I believe its been kept up on. there is a damaged area on the strabord front area where it got into a piling at claudios while docked but beyond that its pretty clean especially for its age.

John is a very nice guy and hangs at claudios all he time. The price is MID 30's but offers are probably possible I was on the boat 2 weeks ago and it was running pretty well but taht was before the exhaust issue.

interior is nice in the boat as well. Trailer is a newer alluminum and in good condition.

anyone got the brochure for the 31 spirit OB?

probably because theres only 3 of them that I know of out there.

anyone know the actual weight of a OB 31 spirit? It tows really easy so its gotta be light.

I know it was lambo powered but I hate the sound of it.

39. Its an ealry 90's boat so it has the newer deck on it. They're all the same length boat.

really I didnt know they were all the same length.

I figured it was adeed at the transom or something
