G
Theres a pretty ok tri ax trailer on cl just n of boston....
Needs a leaf & fender. 2004 ,aluminum, $2400

Unlimited jd 04-04-2012 03:01 PM

I have a pair of fenders and some other parts for that trailer

OLD MAN 04-04-2012 05:46 PM

Thanks Mike & Jamie for the info. I did see it listed this morning.
Most tri-axles with a 12900@ GVW and 15" tires will fit 29'-32'.
Mine being a 33' more than likely will need a 15000 GVW with 16"
tires and will fit 32'-34'. It may be a tad too short. Thanks for
thinking of me.

I'll sell you the custom Myco I had built last year for mine. All aluminum tandem axle with prop guard, under hull led lights, and jack box. It will fit a 31-34 Sutphen. Let me know if you're interested.

wstultz 04-04-2012 09:56 PM

It only has the miles on it from the Myco factory to my house in Houston. Been dunked in fresh water only three times.

george, mike's trailer for the cafe is a 10,500, a 16k trailer has 8 lug axles.
my 40' trailer for the hawk had 6 lug 5200 axles that eventually i will upgrade to 6k
just saying dont pass anything up that could work!

So I gather you're keeping (buying?) "Night Moves"? I'll have to check the trailer under "Past Performance"; it's very clean and might work.

OLD MAN 04-05-2012 06:44 PM

Guys, Thanks for all the input. I need to sell the boat and trailer
1st, then take care of the taxman 2nd, and then see what's left
3rd to go shopping. Yes, Night Moves is coming home to get
finished. It's going to be a long project but I'm looking forward
to getting the "old girl" up and running once again. George

ChristianGott 04-05-2012 07:12 PM

hey all...
dba900...I don't think anyone could resurrect the 33 Sutphen "Night Moves" (Sorry, George...)
I took the time to run through her thoroughly....YIKES! (PM me for the details)
That being said... http://newhaven.craigslist.org/boa/2919465236.html ...a nice Banana for sale?...
Wade... new pics please...I only have ones of the Arneson boat......slacker! Don't forget, I was in that boat at OSS&S in the showroom in Winsted, CT...
Let's get movin' crew...summer's just around the corner.....

G weathers starting to break. Any takers, or all stroke jobs ?

OLD MAN 05-01-2012 07:51 PM

Mike, I'm currently boatless. I cut a deal with Brian at Pettis Yacht
Sales on Saturday and both boats are available for resale. The 20'
with new trailer is $8000 and the 33' no engines, no trailer will be
listed soon at $3800. Those interested can call 401-499-2988.
Talk to you soon. George
