Speed+Power question
Whats speeds can be expected in an 80s 33ft with twins and TRS drives:
Speeds with Twin 400hp-- Twin 500hp-- Twin 600hp-- etc? |
70-73 with 400's

This older thread has a 33 tested with 400's. You can probably use Bam's Speed Tester to figure out the rest. |
radar test showed 69mph.

I am gving the BRAND the benefit of doubt because I like Sutphen's...next... P.S. this is the "old guy"..... |
Test boat was an 85. A late 80's 33' might be a little faster.

power
Good deal, just took delivery of a 33', needs a pair of engines and didnt know how crazy i would have to get to make it move. Twin 500 horsepower engines should push it high 70s then?
Finishing my Apache, then starting on this one. Cant beat classic boats, great lines, built tough, pound though anything. |
