Title says it all...whats the fastest 33'? Engine package and drive set up? Just curious :whistle:

My 1987 33! Actually I think Ritchie said something a kaama boat that ran close to 115 mph! Now Paul Revells outrageous has the capability to be over 100 plus.

Don't forget Brian's 33.....( letterip)
With 598s once that things dialed it won't exactly be a slouch either!

I saw Letterip twice, at the Borden run in 2011 and then once with Ernie as we were on our way to Newport, they were flying by us headed the other way. Both boats sounded amazing...:eekdrop:

And who do you think reminded him of that?? I believe it runs in the mid-teens. Big pair of blower motors.

Its a 1984? Pretty sure its 84'...but it's a 33'

OH ? is it better to spin a smaller pitch prop faster or a higher pitch prop slower all else being equal, except for gear ratio. same rpm and HP vs gear change and prop pitch ? Dan ? any help !

Smaller and higher revs,,worked for me before superchargers.now my cruise is awesome.

How much of a speed difference is there between the 30s and the 33s? The 33 is definitely a much better layout.

I don't know about the speed differences...but my question (not to hijack my own thread) is the ride quality/speed gain of a 33' with ASD 6s (bravo conversation). Anyone have any experience with that or know of anyone? I know theres a kaama ocean pacer with a pair of big blower motors. Read that it rides like a dream. there was a #30 located in Andover, MA with Kaama drives. Had one of the bigger engine packages, any 1 know where she is ? Owner was asso. with a big medical waste disp. co. supp. did 90+ OH ? how many engine packages did Kamma offfters?

Is there any main difference between how Kaama vs. Arneson (#7s) would act on a 33'? Specifically speed wise? I don't know of a 33 with Arnesons so thats my question, why hasn't anyone done it? (I figure Kaama was more popular back in the 80s/90s. so thats probably why. But any other reasons?)

Got the 3 kaama drives, contemplating making it a triple.. I know people may think I'm crazy but don't care how fast it is, just want to be THAT guy with a triple 33.
After all our other boat has 4 510ci big blocks in it..
