Sutphen Super Pacer fuel tank

looks like I may need to remove my fuel tank. I tried to pressure test, but it won't build pressure. I have not did not look into this too far yet, so I don't know if under the carpet is a removable section, or if I need to cut open the floor. the other possibility could be the sending unit is leaking.
anyone been here yet with this problem?
Boat is a 77-78 Super Pacer with a Berkeley if that matters.

TIA,
John

Thank You.
I started cutting back in the engine compartment to find the width of the tank,20 1/2" Not knowing how long the tank is I started surgically cutting the deck out looking for the other end. I believe its 62" but haven't finished cutting yet. I'm at around 58" and believe I can feel the end of the tank with the tip of my tape measure. I believe the capacity to be 38 gallons.
Would you know if the tank is just set in foam or is it bolted in then foamed in place?

Thank You

It may have tabs on top of the tank screwed into the stringers but mostliky not. Once it's out, have the tank duplicated and re install with foam.

I have not found any top mounts yet so that's good. Hoping to just loosen the foam around the tank and lift it out.....

long sawsall blades work good and if gas has leaked out,it kind of softens the foam, but not much.

thanks for the help. I got the tank removed yesterday, after going around it with the Sawzall I hooked it up with a couple of come a longs and she came right out.
All the foam seems pretty dry so far

Hope this may help others looking for tank information, it's a 40-gallon tank.
Length is 83.0"
Top width 20.0"
Bottom width is 11.0"
Sides are 5.0 high
Ends are 6.25"
I did do have a sketch but for some reason it won't load.
