Meeting / Tie Up - massacusetts
 

Hey everyone, I have an idea, this summer We'll set a date & organize a Meeting / Tie up of sutphen owners.
Somewhat of a casual event but just a bunch of sutphen geeks hanging out for a day.

I'll bet we get a good turn out. some I know 5 sutphens in the northshore area alone that would attend.

??????? maybe meet in boston? Sometime in July / August.

I ran Walter's a couple of times and its alot of fun for 100.00 bucks. Its about 95 miles long. Plus the guys that run it are all cool. No sh##heads. If everyone goes then they can meet the professional booz drinking team that runs a 38 Sutphen. Sutphen30 knows the guys I'm talking about.:D

Maybe that would be the case of the fall river run I just figured that something in boston would be a cool place to meet up.
we have plenty of time to get something going on.

Average poker run supplies on 38 Sutphen's boat would be, 10 qts oil, 10 oil pads, 80 beers, 2 gal Captain Morgans, 2 cartons of Marlboros, and a box of Slim Jims.:D

Thats right!! Then Phil brings his! Those guys go all night till 6am. They beat the crap out of other too for fun. 2am rolls around and I look at Dave, I tell him "I'm going home, this is stupid". He says " how about one for the road" (thats when the Crown Royal somehow makes its appearance). I'm like holysh** man, not getting up early tommorow am I.:D :crazy:

What about a run from FallRiver/Newport out to Block Island and back?

We'll there are a few poker runs anyway , I really am not trying to mix it in with that, those will be fun just as they are.
I figure that Boston is a pretty good meet up point
& we could run to some other destination close to that.

More of a meeting than a run. some people may not be as interested to go out & try to hang with the bigger boats etc.......
That's why I posted " meeting / Tie up" just what it says!
Anyone can attend & then who ever wants to go out & jam on the waves together can for a bit & return etc....
some people have different drivng stlyes, & smaller sutphens.
I just think it would be cool to connect on the level of the "sutphen brand" newer or old, original & restored.
It dosent matter if it 5 boats or 15.
there will be some good stories either way.
I'm Thinking sometime in august.

Sutphenoc needs to meet the Hebert brothers (38Sutphen).They drive it like they stole it! Prop blades and tie bars fly off that boat. Then they tie the Kaamas together w/ rope and use it for the rest of the weekend.The interior is full of pincher bugs and ants, but they got blower motors.:D
