My Simpathey Goes Out To Team P4-11 Buckshot For Your Loss.
If You Do Read This ,tony And I Stopped But Were Waved On By ,i Think Coast Guard ? We Never Really Got Back In The Race!!! . |
Re: Fairwell To One Of Best Sutphen's
Several years ago, Doug Lewis described Buckshot as the best rough water B race boat he had ever driven. One of the best runs on tape with Buckshot was when they caught Harahs 777 C boat coming into Mallory Square in KW in 94 I believe. RIP

All boats should be built so well. *let me amend this by saying, check out Rich Luhrs (T2x)comments on that thread...he has added some common sense, and true expertise, to what is being said. |

Fitting that a boat named Buckshot would go out with such a Blast.
My thoughts are that the wrong length boat met the wrong height wave(s) at the wrong speed and the photos tell the rest of the story. The last 3 feet will make the owner a nice bar. |
