Nice! Looks like the boat that was on trader for a long time with new 502s?
I can't remember the price, but it seemed like a good deal. Did you acquire recently?

Hey Dave / what type of throttle set up do you have? I have that bulkey deal with trim on throttle, I wonder can I change that out to a lower profile deal ??? When Are you coming to CT

Dave

Yes it was on the trader for a long time. I bought it last May. I feel I got a great deal on it but it was a good thing. Since I have had nothing but problems with it since I bought it. The new 502' had a ton of time time on them and one only ran for about 5 minutes before spinning a berring. There was over and inch of sludge in both oil pans and both valve trains were covered in rust. . I had to re build both motors so I upped the hp and changed them over to carb motors.

If you remember the paint on the side was horriable. It had a pastel looking easter egg on it. I did the best I could to make it look better with out having to repaint the entire boat. Although I'm not 100% satisfied with the results it is a 1000 times better than it was.

I also was not happy with the dash so I re did that as well. It looks much better now as well.

Not to mention the problems I have had getting a good title for the boat. All of this made my great deal just ok. But I can't wait to get it in the water this year. I may toss it in on Wed for test run. It's supposed to be 65 here.

I'm trying to figure out what props to start with. I'm thinking Mirage 25's.

Bill

That would be great I would love to try them. The motors with the dyno headers made 550hp. But I'm running manifolds so I'm guessing 500 give or take a few. My only concearn with the 4 blades is that they would be way harder on the drives. Which is a weak link now. I'll PM you my address.
