Nice! Looks like the boat that was on trader for a long time with new 502s?
I can't remember the price, but it seemed like a good deal. Did you acquire recently? |

Yes it was on the trader for a long time. I bought it last May. I feel I got a great deal on it but it was a good thing. Since I have had nothing but problems with it since I bought it. The new 502' had a ton of time time on them and one only ran for about 5 minutes before spinning a berring. There was over and inch of sludge in both oil pans and both valve trains were covered in rust. . I had to re build both motors so I upped the hp and changed them over to carb motors. If you remember the paint on the side was horriable. It had a pastel looking easter egg on it. I did the best I could to make it look better with out having to repaint the entire boat. Although I'm not 100% satisfied with the results it is a 1000 times better than it was. I also was not happy with the dash so I re did that as well. It looks much better now as well. Not to mention the problems I have had getting a good title for the boat. All of this made my great deal just ok. But I can't wait to get it in the water this year. I may toss it in on Wed for test run. It's supposed to be 65 here. I'm trying to figure out what props to start with. I'm thinking Mirage 25's. Rob |

That would be great I would love to try them. The motors with the dyno headers made 550hp. But I'm running manifolds so I'm guessing 500 give or take a few. My only concearn with the 4 blades is that they would be way harder on the drives. Which is a weak link now. I'll PM you my address. Rob |

What kind of power were you making? I could add nose cones how much did you you pick up from them?
