-------Sale of the 280Ks went so well Id like to see if anyone needs two (2) merc transmissions. Came in a mid-70s 24 DONZI as part of a twin 280/TRS set-up. Boat was always fresh water and wasnt used at all for many, many years at one point. Electric function works well on both and they both shift well too. No strange noises, just that smoooooooth shift! Both even appear nice and havent even been re-painted. One had just a bit of water mixed with the fluid, probably a bad cooler, but as I said it worked just fine. I obviously cant guarantee them, but at $500.00 apiece plus shipping I shouldnt have to. Buy em as spares, buy em as planters, I dont care, just buy em!!! Thanks..........BillS

------Beck,,,They were from a 280/TRS twin setup in a 1975 DONZI Spitfire 24ft. The boat was used in the Georgian Bay when used during its early life and then the boat was stored relatively correctly for many years. The boat was never anywhere near salt........Bill S

-------Would rather see these transmissions in someone elses garage soon so will drop the price . $750.00 for both will take them away. Hard to ship so local buyer or pickup would be better..........Bill S
