Have a 750CFM need 800
I have a carb that I just purchased from Holley performance. It is a 750CFM marine re-furbished by Holley. It is still in the shipping box as I've found out that I need atleast an 800.
I would like to swap +$$$ for a or 2 800's. Will sel outright also. Here is a copy of the ad that I bought it from: Holley Factory Refurbished 750CFM MARINE PERFORMANCE Carburetor This is an official Holley Performance Factory Refurbished Carburetor listing. Factory Refurbished carbs are NOT old worn-out carbs that have been rebuilt. They are brand new carbs that were returned under warranty. When these carbs are returned, we check them out and most of the time there is nothing wrong with them. Generally, they were simply adjusted out of working range by the installer. Since these carbs may show signs of a previous installation, our policy is not to sell them as new. Rather than scrapping them, we are making them directly available to the public. Not only does this help us control the costs of our new carbs, it allows you to get a great deal on a like-new carburetor! Factory Refurbished carbs have undergone a thorough inspection. Any damaged parts that would effect performance have been replaced and the carbs are solvent cleaned before being wet-flow-tested on Holley’s state-of-the-art flow benches allowing them to be recalibrated to new carb specs. Factory Refurbished carbs may have scratches, blemishes, and other visual flaws from previous installation. You could also send the carb to Nickerson Perf and have him tweak it up to flow more CFM's.

Tweak up the 750's or when I get the 800's
|
Nickerson could tweak the 750 to flow more than an 800. He would need your engine specs and could set the carb up from there. It would be near perfect after he's done with it.

Nickerson
Tweeked my 850 to more than a stock 1050 would flow.
Along with a don't touch it solution that has been fine for over 2 years now. When you hit the starter, if it has been sitting for a week, just a couple of pumps to wet the intake and it fires off in about 90 degrees rotation. When it is warm, you can't hit the key short enough to keep it from starting. |
