Kiekhaefer Controls for Twins
 

I have a pair of white Kiekhaefer Controls for Twins. This setup is to mount the throttles and shifters in seperate locations. Throttle has one switch in it. You can hook it up to trim your drives or tabs. They are in excellent condition and have all the stuff with them...all the little hardware to hook them up. Cable ends etc. They do have neutral safety switches in the shifters. $450.00 plus shipping. I will post pics later if interested.

i am looking to change over my origial merc set up in my 78 spectra. as mentioned the boat has the original set up with the throttle / shifter combo side by side for each engine / drive. the mounting would not be an issue however i was wondering if i could maybe use the existing cables for either the drives or the engines and purchase additional cables for the other. any thoughts on this or what would be needed. this is for a TRS application with BW tranny's.

PS i am not looking at the boat at the moment to see exactly what the current cable / cables are function.

The setup is no problem. They will push/pull from either side. Post a picture of the cable ends. Worse case scenario is to put new cables.....which I would do anyway with a 78 model. They will work with tranny's or shiftable drives.

i will post a pic tomorrow. i lucked out some what on this boat. the original previous owner rarely used with only 350 hours when i bought it a year ago. i would like to spend some time and unfortunatly money and update it. was yellow and brown the COOL in 78?
