What size are the tabs? Come with hoses and hardware too?

lifesaboat 11-23-2009 06:45 PM

They are the dual ram set ups from bennett. I pulled two sets off of my boats, as I went with K planes. Most of the pieces are there from both sets. I will try to get a list of everything I have.

i really just need a pump and switch..so if outlawman needs them. i can always go to ebay

OutlawMan 11-24-2009 08:20 PM

What is the measurement of the actual tab? thanks.

450RRRR 11-25-2009 01:21 PM

the pic looks like the 12+16 plate. 12+12 would be more square. i think they only make the two in the double ram set up.sport version

Did you ever run this setup on a boat? I didn't know if the insta-trim pump worked with the Bennett tabs.

lifesaboat 01-13-2010 09:30 PM

Yes, they will work.

speedreeder 01-13-2010 09:35 PM

can you pm me on what parts you do have. Thanks, Rob

rchevelle71 01-14-2010 07:11 AM

I wouldnt mind having the plates, if someone else just needs the pump, or rams. I have the square ones now, but would like longer plates.

lifesaboat 01-14-2010 10:18 AM

Will sell a set of plates for 100.00.

I have the single ram system on my boat, if I use these plates would my old pumps be sufficient if I use a Y fitting to feed the rams?

To me it seems like it should be... Boat still weighs the same regardless...

Where are you located Lifesaboat?

lifesaboat 01-14-2010 08:39 PM

It should work. LA

I run twin ram tabs, and only have a single pump. My pump is different than the one pictured, not sure how that one works, but the standard bennett pump uses solenoids to send fluid to whichever corresponding tab you press the button for. One thing that I was told by Bennett directly though, is that a twin ram setup with a single pump will be twice as slow as a single ram setup. This is due to their pump being only ably to move so much fluid, if you tee it, you have to move twice as much to move 2 rams, therefore the rams move 1/2 the speed/ The way around this is to run dual pumps, but not really necessary.

Thanks for the info rchevelle! I'd probably have to change my pump as well as the tabs then... The damn pump already moves slow as hell...

HTRDLNCN 01-15-2010 11:44 AM

How much for complete setup without the extra parts?

NO,

you will need 2 pumps, one for each side, and it will move the same speed it does now. If you were to stck with a single pump for dual rams it would move 1/2 as fast as it does now. I kinda like it sometimes K-Planes can be touchy.

lifesaboat 01-15-2010 11:46 PM

350 and I'll give you everything. I'll cover shipping also.

Still intersted in a set of plates, but got some other things prying my wallett open right now(taxes). Keep in mind that that indicator will require the rams with the transducers in them, there should be one with a red wire, and one with a green coming out of the ram.

wtfo 01-29-2010 10:56 AM

If someone else will do a set of plates for say 75, I'll do the rest...
