500 hp engines and drives

I have a pair of Merc 500hp carb motors. GEN VI. Totally fresh with less than ten hours since rebuild. 550hp with stock carbs. I have dyno sheets. Compression and cam bumped up a bit but good for pump gas. 99 Model year

Engines and cmi sport tubes $25k.

Also have pair of bravo I drives. 1.35 gear ratio. Gone thru last winter. New clutch cones. $5k for the set.

My boat sustained hull damage so had to part out.

All reasonable offers considered but still looking for hull so may not be on market for long.

Price may be high but what was purpose of the BS flag?

Yes...same fountain. Everything from engine compartment on back is fine. I have to fix the skags on the drives but otherwise everthing is in great shape. Didn't understand BS flag either. If you don't like the price....don't buy it. I am open to all offers.

maybe you should sell it to the fountainkid , since he is fixing the boat back . that is going to be a big job. if anybody is thinking about buying the motors they are nice and sound very good as I was parked next to it at the cinci poker run this past summer .

How did it end up on the road?

Him and his dad have some big motors sitting there ready to go in when hull work is done. I agree a big job. I know nothing about that type of work but have some say can't be done...some say could be done. We'll see I guess. I know the X dimension on that boat was set up really high from fountain (factory installed extension boxes) so he may need my boxes (or someone elses) to make it work. I hear he's pretty talented so I'm sure he has a plan.
