trs upper case

I have one upper trs case that had blew the upper gears. case has the shafts (input shaft splines are twisted) . the gears are toast. missing the rear plate. the shell looks good . no corrosion on the case . $250 plus shipping . Tom

What kind of shape are the interal bores of the case in? I thought when these things blow gears they generally destroy the casing?
