Mercruiser / Gil BBC Exhaust
Mercruiser / Gil manifolds with stainless risers. These just came back from the paint shop. They have ceramic coating in the inside of the manifolds and candy purple powder coat outside. They have also been pressure checked. $950 plus ride, they need to go. 402-680-8751 Brian

Are your risers wet or dry?
|
I am not exactly sure what they call them. I have heard them call both wet and dry. They are not a true "wet" exhaust because the water and exhaust dose not mix until the exhaust tip. At the same time they are not a true "dry" exhaust either.
The water comes out of the manifold and enters the risers on the nipple just above the flanges. The risers are double walled and water exits out of a small hole on top of the pipe about a half inch from tail or the end of the riser (at the transom). |
what boat did they come out of? what are the tails set up for? Bravo location?
|
I am not for sure what the pipe came out of. I will see if I can grab a part number off of them tonight.
|
The risers look like TRS risers.
|
I am not 100% sure but I am thinking that might be right. The risers could very well fit a TRS. It is not a standard Bravo application. According to Gil, these are considered "wet" risers. Thanks C-Deezy for catching that.

Did you buy them and then decide not to use them?
