What is the max actual outside diameter these will fit over? CMI's website leads me to believe they will fit 4" to 5". My pipe O.D. is 4.5".

They fit over 4" SS exhaust tips. They will not fit anything any bigger. Could possibly fit/clamp over smaller tips however you would have to rig some type of adapter or perhaps Hardin Marine or somebody makes them. They will not fit 4.5" or 5". Some 4" SS tips vary a little in overall outside diameter in which case these would fit fine.
