What the hell are tide slides? Sounds like a laundry thing?

tide slides are used in place of spring lines and crossing transom lines. There is a large cleat that rides up and down on a 2" stainless shaft. they allow you to tie tight to the dock with only 2 lines. very handy if your in and out of the slip alot.
