What's up Dub! I made out great parting out my old Scarab a few years back. Better than I would have done selling it as a whole. It took awhile and I was kinda stuck with the bare hull until I found a buyer for $500. but it was really bare. I found guys are looking for original parts for older popular boats, the little stuff that can't be found. Time is the thing.
