Default 42' wellcraft excalibur for trade....

Well, life is telling me to get rid of some stuff, so here is the biggest toy I have left...

It is a 86 hull.
has everything to run except a pair of big blocks.
The cabin had to be stripped, so it is bare.
the a/c and generator are still there as well as the toilet.
the out side upholstry is in fair shape.
has stainless bbq, has radar arch/bimini
Gauges/steering/trannies/drives are there and are fine.
It was a running boat that needed motors rebuilt.
Motors were pulled, comes with motor plates/exhaust/cables everything except the motors.
trailer has new tires/rims and I bought new fenders that are in storage.

I was'nt going to sell her cause it really needs little to put in water to run.As far as the cabin, leave alone or redo, I bet I took 2000lbs out of there when we stripped it.
Still has holding tanks and such.

Pm me with offer's I am wanting $7,000 or trade .....
photo's

Was yours a complete dog? We had one with twin Merc 420s. It was a beautiful boat, but a b!tch to get on plane and a dog once it was up. We tried multiple sets of wheels but never really got it planing properly.

The boat was called "Headin South" and was a purplish tan and deep purple, with an off-white purplish interior. Sounds kinda fem, but it was a really good lookin' boat and sounded mean with the exh. under the swim platform. The boat came out of FL, ran great down there in salt water, but never really ran right in MI.

to be honest I only got to take her out one time and then found out I had a bad motor.
One thing led to another and never had it back together.
Plus I had 502's in her, so it got up pretty nice..

Kinda sad as I have been told by other owners that they are a nice riding hull and great wave crusher's...

42johnny ... Where are you located? Do you think trailer is road worthy to get to Annapolis Md? Does the stuff you took out of cabin go with it?

I am close to Indio, Ca.
As far as the cabin goes it was pretty much stripped when I got it.
other then a toilet, it is it. the seats has been removed for the most part, it is a pretty clean hull on the inside.
but anything I have for this boat goes with it.
its got new tires/rims. I would double check the bearings before hauling it across the U.S. though...
I tried to keep it and make it happen, but life keeps throwing me under the bus......

If I could have sold the 502's, I would have installed running 454's and gone on from there. of all the items I own, I get the least from this one, and even though the storage cost is not high, I do not see in my future when I can get it done...
