no, its not too much, on an 18 donzi it would help and it bolts right into a bravo transom assembly. that is a great price as well for his drive, if I didnt have one already for my cig 20 i would snatch it up. being as there are no props for his, i have a brand new set of 27's that have never been on a shaft in the factory boxes for sale as well.

Offshoredrillin, Thank you for your assistants with the blackhawk drive, It truly is much appreciated, Because I do know that you know what it takes to make a boat work with this style drive, So thank you.:)

Also thank you for the assistants with your offer on the Blackhawk propellers, It is much appreciated as well.

Here is your link to your Blackhawk propellers.

P.S. There's a rumor that Herring Propellers is still making them.:party-smiley-004:

I say that because take a look at the very last post of this thread (Post #32) Because SVL-WARLOCK appears to be a reliable source in the marine industry at least to me anyways.;)

black hawk drives were an experiment by merc many yrs ago
precursor to modern bravo drives
they are durable and can handle up to about 500 hp
give or take the driver
and on a small light boat......... go for it
light yrs over the alpha you have at present

Making another pass on through.
