Bravo1 1.36rh $700 O.B.O.
Ok, I have a 1993 Baja outlaw 24. It came with a 502 mag and a 1.36 drive on it. when i purchaced the boat it had a replacement on it (you know that round sticker that says genuine mercury replacement). The boat had 360 hours on it when i bought it. the guy i bought it from said he hit something and got the drive insured and replaced at around 150 or 200 hours (he was guessing) so, the engine soon got weaker and weaker. there was never much power to it and it was just not right for my application. so i now have a 1.50 some people like the 1.36
More about the drive.... I had it and the rear cap (the one held in with 3 bolts sealed by an o-ring and has the detent ball in it) it kept seeping oil when i would look her over before going out there would be a small amount of residue on the drive around the cap. i replaced the o-ring. still did it. found a little pit in the o-ring surface so i replaced it with one (used) from a bravo 3 (there is no difference) the cap just says bravo3. i changed the oil in it always with merc hp fluid and there is no metal on the magnets. it sits on a drive stand in my workout room as we speak. i took the u-joint loose and used the shaft to quick check alignment on my engine. i'll replace the u-joint before anyone buys it. so, i have this drive i have no need for. it worked great and shifted smooth when i took it off. I will stand behind this drive. if there is anything wrong that i have overlooked i will gladly refund the money and pay to ship it back or pick it back up. im asking $700 o.b.o. can post pics if needed. |
