Floscan 5500 CruiseMaster
 

I have a new Floscan 5500 CruiseMaster. The sending unit was installed in my boat, but was never hooked up. The gauge was never even installed in the boat. I switched from a carb motor to a HP EFI motor with a return to the tank so this gauge is of no use to me anymore. I'd like $200 shipped anywhere in the lower 48. Here is a link to the specs. Just FYI, if you'd like to have the features this unit gives you, you can install it on the EFI engine. All the Merc motors I have seen return the rail bypass fuel to the fuel filter housing. As such, as long as you put the flow meter inline before the filter, you will read actual engine usage.

I have done this on a 496HO and 502/500HP.

That is correct. If you have a standard EFI this gauge will work. My motor is set up like the 260. I removed the VST and have a HP fuel pump in the boat and the fuel returns directly to the fuel tank.

Is this unit still available? with gauge? And finally, what horsepower is this unit good for? (gph)
