Default Keith Eickert exhaust repairable $500

Had a little water flow problem and melted top portion of runners as well as water jacket. Cut open one for inspection. Skilled tig welder said they are fixable. Summer was here got impatient and spent 2K on a used set. One set of dry tailpipipes w/02 sensor bungs, one set wet tailpipe connection tailpipes $500 all [email protected] 914-262-1898

Just curious what happened to cause that? Bag over the water intake maybe?

I live in NY. Cause was air leak on suction side of water pump causing steam pockets from low water pressure. Hard lesson indeed. Engine had a small cam so it actually ran well even after the incident. Was like having wet exhaust instead of dry!

offers? tailpipes to convert to dry exhaust should be worth close to that alone.
