What year? Low water pick up?

I need a pair for my restoration...you may have one of two I need.

Thanks,

John

Are you selling the gimbal assy. with this as well?

srl520 02-18-2012 10:22 PM

This is a side water pickup.

I still researching the year? early 90's

The Gimball Assembly is sold.

Judging simply by the looks of the lower unit I would guess 1988-89

srl520 02-20-2012 01:57 PM

This is the S# for the drive. I can't figure out how to cross it to the yr.
S#0B892083

Baja226sport 02-20-2012 04:59 PM

Bravo I 1.50 ratio 1988 - 1990 serial range 0B664190-0D469908

So maybe 0B prefix would be 1988 0C 1989 and 0D 1990

This is a 1988 unit

Yes the hole where the trim arm pin goes thru tells its the older version, still a good buy though.

I have a 1989 bravo 1 in good shape if you need a mate.

srl520 02-20-2012 09:28 PM

Thanks for updating this.
I was told the package (motor, gimbal, drive) was from 88 27 Sea Ray, but I never saw the boat and the guy acted like he was not really sure of the yr. This was sitting in persons garage. I wanted just the motor, but he would not split it up.

srl520 02-26-2012 07:48 PM

runnin it through again. Anyone need one.

srl520 02-29-2012 10:16 PM

Like to move this. Anyone?

sprink58 03-01-2012 06:38 AM

In looking at the pics it appears that the replacement skeg is shorter than stock...anyone agree or is it perhaps the angle of the shot?

Unlimited jd 03-01-2012 07:51 AM

Being an 88 it doesn't have the provision for a drive oil reservoir correct?

It looks like a full skeg to me. A 1988 drive would not have the reservoir provision.

Actually, the skeg is brand new. Just had complete new one professionally installed. Therefore the lower is freshly painted.
