he has zero feedback and needs to sell FAST!!! no reserve auction..... any 47ft cigarettes stolen and stripped recently in the atlanta area?

I am a prospect for 1 engine and live in Atlanta. I have sent the seller a email asking to sell 1 motor.

i was high bidder at .01 cent and run it up to 6K . just having some fun . He needs to sell a single and a pair but I don't think he has a clue how ebay works .

Hell, with more info and the right price I may be interested in 2 motors and drives or even a pair of motors if anyone needs a single. Be nice to know hours etc or have someone look at them first tho.

with people bidding it up for fun its not gonna end up being a deal

the guy is selling all the stuff for a friend of his. 1 motor is "fresh" others are 40 hours.he has no clue on the hours or rebuilds on the xr's and it was a florida salt water boat... bid with confidence!!!!!

Hmmm. Completly different answer than what I got. This is what I was told . . .

These are 2002 series motors. One of the motors has a total rebuild including valves, pistons, super charger, and drive "Invested 34k", and has "ZERO" hours. Work done by Canale Marine. The other two motors has 30 hours on a fresh top end rebuild. The CMI headers, exhaust pipes, and tips, are polished stainless steel. Center exhaust has extensions. These motor have never seen salt water since the rebuilds. Similar set ups with drives are running 20-25k per motor. Divorce is the reason for the sale.

did you copy and paste that from the ebay auction or did you call "chris" and talk to him. im still waiting for an update on the condition of the drives when he gets more info from his buddy

I don't think this Chris understands how a no reserve auction works. or how ebay works for that matter. If I win it at let's say 25k he will more than likely not sell. What does he have to lose with 0 feedback. Wouldn't send him any $. Would have to pick up in person which could be a wasted trip. But just in case this is a honorable person....would you guy quit bidding up the prise just for kicks...you are costing me $.:lolhit:

i dont think it will get to the 50k like he wants. these will be relisted. i offered him 30k and he said no and like you said its a long drive to come up with nothing thats for sure!!

I'll bet this is the first boat he's pulled the motors out of . He probably lifted them out with his wrecker .
If anyone is serious and would contact the seller and explain to him that they will pay $XXX for just two drives or $XXX for one complete package you could probably get a really good deal and he could end auction and relist correctly .

now it get's legal through ebay,,early 2000 me and a friend bought a slightly wrecked m3 convt..our winning bid was 4500.00..the guy wouldnt not honor the bid so ebay got involved and we ended up with the car for that price..i think the rules have no changed since..
