Done Boating - Selling complete or parting out 540 BBC loaded
Lightning sent me a faulty header so I got a little reversion that pitted out two cylinders so the block needs honed a bit in those cylinders but the rings may still be fine. Tired of dumping money into this thing. I'd rather buy a $3k bass boat and be done with it. Built this motor last year. Everything is brand new except the intake, flywheel, coupler, timing cover, carb (although it was rebuilt by Pro Systems), distributor and maybe a couple other little things. Less than 10 hours on it.
As of now, I am sending the headers back to Lightning to be fixed or hopefully receive a new set of brand new headers. Here goes: I'm only selling the shortblock complete and I would optimally like to sell the top end with it, but at least the camshaft. Anyone is more than welcome to make an offer as a complete motor.
