Really? How are you such an expert? I pulled these motors down and everything is mercruiser stuff. Heads are correct 088 castings, correct Holley 800cfm mech sec carbs, single plane dart intakes, cam measured out correct etc

Valve cvrs are not hp. 500s and rockers should be crane golds. Easy way to tell is intake valve size.hp should be 2.250. Std 502s are 2.190. But still 088 castings

As Smokin Gun said! Rockers look like pro comp rockers, valve covers are just standard automotive units painted blue, HP 500 carbs are blue, fuel line is different and also blue, the push rods don't look like HP push rods and the intake looks like a professional products unit not dart(hard to tell) That said the only thing that is certainly HP 500 is the flame arrestor! So that said very little is mercruiser stuff other than the flame arrestor. Not trying to be a jerk but you shouldn't be selling that stuff as HP 500 items when it clearly isn't!

Ok so the valve covers aren't "correct" and the carb isn't blue and the rockers aren't crane golds. I didn't realize that Mercruiser blue paint made it so much better than a chevy! I bought the boat as is and this is what it has. I'm not trying to screw anybody, it ran 100 mph when I pulled them! Pretty sure the valve covers didn't slow it down...
I've now been screwed by two different buyers that called me personally and said their check was in the mail. This stuff is priced cheap and I want it gone. The intakes are the correct DART ones as I stated. The carbs are correct 800 holleys. The pushrods are chromoly, the cam measures correct and the roller lifters are good. If you are serious about buying ANY of it contact me. If your a broke dick and are gonna lie about mailing a check, kiss my ass.

attitude like that aint gonna make a sale here .you really should ck the heads and see if they are hp 500s nobodys gonna be happy being told they are 500s and getting the smaller valved heads .very simple pull a valve ck diameter then youl know till then its anybodys guess .not tryin to be a jerk but it will help the sale for sure

An approval from god himself wouldnt be good enough to sell parts here with all you keyboard hardasses voicing your opinions and marginal expertise in a for sale thread of which parts you have no intention of buying. If someone interested wants to know something I'll do what it takes to find out. If your not interested in my parts GTFO
