I've seen these exact mufflers installed on many twin engine boats without modification... a decent welder could do so if need be... if you'd like some measurements to see if they would fit your particular application, let me know... Thanks |
I was just hoping the picture were missing the cutouts. I am currently running the same mufflers but yours are in better condition. I was just looking to swap mine out with yours and sell mine for less.

Are your's cut and modified as referenced?
You could always keep those, run 2 of mine on the outsides, and sell off the rest... I'm sure these will eventually sell, I just need some dough right now so I priced them cheap hoping for a quick sale... |

I am very interested, any flow restrictions with them wide open? Any horsepower losses?
What brand are they? How long are they total and how far do they slip onto the pipes? Trying to figure if they will clear my tie bar as my bar is in a custom spot? Thanks Jim |
These 4.5" mufflers are the Gaffrig "performance series" retailing at $619.00 each new from Gaffrig.
Length overall is 16" and they will slide on 5" until you reach the actual can of the muffler. I'm unaware of any flow restrictions or effect on horsepower in the full open position. I would contact gaffrig for a more difinitive answer, but i doubt there would be any measurable loss. |
