You guys running big ol' power! Dont laugh at a puny Alpha SS drive - Theres alot of lurkers in starter boats roaming arond here looking for performance upgrades - And I have just the part for them! This thing is good for about 5-8 MPH increase on most boat.

Clean Alpha SS, 1.32 gears.

Paint and decals are nice.

$500 - Broke a tooth off the upper gear set today.

Im tired of the Alpha Life support game - im done messing with them. Call me if you want it. upper gears interchange with standard alpha.

How much shrapnel got pulled thru the lower?

Not much. tooth came off and got lodged stopping the drive. I took the drive off and drained the oil.

If any of you guys have the skill to rebuild the upper and clean the lower, this would be a deal.

I have one just like it in the shop... planning to make / modify the last tool I need this coming weekend if all goes well...

They're neat little drives on small boats... I run mine on a 17 ft boat with a 450 hp stroked small block in it. it's unmanagable with the regular depth alpha drive on it. it flies and handles well with the ss on it. Where are you located? if shipping's not too bad, I'll buy it for parts / spare.
