Thats a wide open question. All depends on what you are starting with. HP500?, 502mag?, 454/420?, 454/330? and so on. Need details to give you any type of answer.
It's a 454 my bad forgot to mention it
Does it have forged internals? What is the comp ratio? What fuel system is on it now?
It's completely stock everything
You need to tell Cobra, more details, is it a 454 MAG, fuel injected or carb, ect
Carb
Bump
I wish you had 2x with SBC manifolds.
Bump! |
May have another will have to look, but not with small block manifolds. I would def look into a 250 for your application though. I think it may be the ticket.
Up to top, someone NEEDS this blower to get ready for the summer!
so i am debating on putting a blower like this or a procharger on my boat. I am runing a 98 27 fever with a hp500 carb motor. which way is better to go. i like the looks of a blower better. on top of the cost of this one what else would i need to purchase or upgrade to be up and running
If your engine is in good shape now mechanically basically nothing. I would ensure I had good fuel delivery run a v6 module in your ignition (I will even throw 1 in at no cost) maybe get your carb worked for a little more flow and enjoy. I have had Prochargers on carb motors also and this will be way easier and cheaper on you.
