700+- HP short block

I have a brand new 468CI short block.

Just assembled by OWEN's racing engine of Pearland Texas.

Has Forged Callies 4" crank
1/4" over length Manley H beam rods.
L19 bolts
H bearings
JE 7.5:1 forged pistons
Block was from a fresh water boat. Perfect shape. 4 bolt main.

I have a brand new solid roller cam that I will include designed by Bob Madero.

This was going to ba a twin to an engine that I built several years ago. All the parts have been sitting on the shelf at the machine shop. Just put it together in Sept 2012

The twin to this engine made 700HP at 6000rpms using a 250 blower with 2:1 overdrive pulleys at 7PSI

THis engine will make more power with an 8:71 at the same boost.

Calculated comp ratio at 8PSI is 10,5:1 so still a 93 octane engine.

GenIV block. Great engine, great price.

Sacrifice and get it out of my storgage building for 3K.

Will palletize for shipping

You would need a piston swap to make any decent power with this engine. It has a very low static compresion.

Most likely would not get out of it;s own way without a blower.

Switch to this piston and you would have a screaming machine though

How do you think this would do with a 174 set up? Reliability and power?

Probably want a little smaller cam, but it will still work fine. Probably wouldn't want to turn it as hard. At 5 lbs of boost it would be an 89 octane engine. Should still make 600+-

jeff received check thanks Bob
