Four Sterling 1100 Racing Engines
 

These need to go to somebody who will get them right. One engine may be good-to-go, as-is.

Three are NOT drop-ins. They have issues.
That is 'issues' - not 'problems.'

#0 is used and needs work as oil was found in the bilge after testing and compression check showed 2 cylinders low on power.

#1 a "fresh" engine, checked out and blessed by Sterling in October 2012 after they replaced wire harness

#2 is used and during last race in Key West 2012 it developed sensor problems ... so the electronics need to be checked carefully. The engine was fine; the sensor/wiring harness is not.

#3 is a running take-out, last run in Key West 2012

The ECMs on all four checked out fine. #0 needs wrenches applied. #0, 2 & 3 probably need to be re-wired and sensors tested/replaced. There is a dyno run on #3? for 1105hp @6200rpm.

$85k as-is, the lot, loaded in Central Florida. The owner may consider selling pairs, but would prefer to be out of the Sterling bidness in one check.
