OK, thought we could work another angle, I tried 23m+s hot as hell and decent load and spun to 48-4900 in flat water.. cruise lost about 4mph.. that sucked.. I get 50 at 3500 with the 25s.

Will have to wait to see what happens this weekend. :-)

At 24p you were @5%.. if you plug in 25p, that's 9%.. currently that's were I am with my 25p m+.. 9%slip

Looks like these were added pitch or cup added effectively raised pitch?? don't know if I could push them any higher?? Would have liked to know what 3500 or 4k was..

Those props were awesome on my boat! I ran them up to at least 5000..
Houston propeller did the lab job, all I know is I tested them stock sent them back to him and got them back just as you see them in the pics, they pushed my boat close to 70.. I had 454 mags with a comp cam with roller rockers and stainless marine exhaust, I also have extension boxes with the prop shaft around 4" below the bottom..

Whatever you do DONT polish them.. The satin finish is faster than the polished finish, so I've been told..lol

Fleg, do you recall your rpm at cruise speeds?3500? I don't have boxes and in heat/loaded, I can't push my 25s "in" over 4300-4400 at 63. Out, barely over 4k, but in spring 4900. These seems close, plugging your speeds put the pitch at 24.42 using 9.2% slip that I get now.

Thanks

Update:
Fleg, I found a thread where you mentioned 66ish before boxes, max rpm with out boxes?? Thanks again

Could not test this weekend. Lake was way to sloppy and I had several people on with coolers and such. Will try this weekend again.

25's are to big for your boat.. I could only swing 23's to 5000 before I set the prop shafts at 4".. After I did that I couldn't get the boat on plane with the 3 blades, with the props lower on your boat I think the 4 blades will slow you down at wot your cruise speed will raise some though and that's if you can achieve the recommended rpm range for your engines which I doubt you can because your having problems now with the 25's..

Lab the 23's or test some 22 4 blades.. You could always buy Dave's and send them in to get worked...

When I ran the 23s, I had a decent load (5 large adults, coolers and 3 kids). Mainly looking for cruise but want to be able to turn to them to wot range and get bow up and get at least 65ish with best cruise.

Looks like I will need to lab my 25s. These 24s may be too tall and just as some lab my 25s rather than buy props to send out with 2 extra blades.
Thanks guys

I'm betting that you loose cruise mph after labbing the 25's... Your motors need to run at 5150 at wot there is no way your going to be able to pick up 700 rpm by labbing the 25's.. Your best bet would be to lab the 23's get the rpms up to where they need to be add some cup to them to carry the bow, your cruise and WOT speeds should both pick up some mph..
